Forrester Boyd has continued to strengthen its growing presence in West Yorkshire with the appointment of experienced tax specialist Kim Major as Partner at its Leeds office.

Kim joins the firm with more than 10 years’ experience advising private clients on a wide range of tax planning and advisory matters. Her expertise spans working closely with individuals, families and business owners to help them plan effectively for the future, protect wealth and make informed long-term decisions.

Her appointment marks another significant step in the continued growth of Forrester Boyd’s Leeds office, which has now completed its first successful year in the city. Over the past 12 months, the team and client base have expanded steadily as the firm continues to establish itself within the West Yorkshire business community.

Kim’s arrival reflects the firm’s ongoing investment in Leeds and its commitment to delivering high-quality advisory services backed by strong personal relationships and partner-led support.

Speaking about joining the firm, Kim said: “I was drawn to Forrester Boyd because of its longevity, reputation and the calibre of the people within the business. The quality of the partners and the long-standing relationships they have built with clients over many years really stood out to me.

There is a genuine focus on building trusted relationships and working closely with clients across generations, which strongly aligns with my own approach. I’m looking forward to working with clients and helping them add further value to their existing plans and ambitions.”

Richard Walker, Partner at Forrester Boyd’s Leeds office, said Kim’s appointment was another exciting development for the growing team.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Kim to Forrester Boyd. She brings a wealth of experience and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice and support to private clients.

Over the past year we have worked hard to establish ourselves in Leeds and build strong relationships across the region. We are now at a really exciting stage in our growth where we are continuing to attract talented and ambitious people who share our values and our vision for the future.

Kim’s expertise strengthens our offering significantly and her relationship-led approach fits perfectly with the way we work with clients. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and the continued growth of our Leeds office.”

Forrester Boyd’s Leeds office was launched as part of the firm’s strategic expansion into West Yorkshire and has quickly built momentum across the region. The addition of Kim further enhances the firm’s growing advisory offering and reinforces its position as an established and ambitious presence within the Leeds professional services market.

With offices across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Forrester Boyd continues to invest in its people and services while supporting businesses, individuals and families with expert accountancy, tax and advisory support.
